Thursday Thoughts- A little of this and that…

It’s been a little bit so I wanted to let you know I didn’t forget about you! Let me fill you in on a few things. Just a warning, this is going to be one of those random Thursday Thoughts type posts I’ve warned you about….

I was supposed to have a post last Monday if you were paying attention to my schedule, but I wasn’t able to get it done. Not because I didn’t want to or because I just got too busy with shop stuff…. My grandmother lost her battle with cancer and her funeral was that morning. My brother and I drove up to MA that Sunday before and then turned around and drove home after the funeral. That was rough. So I honestly didn’t have the time with us travelling. But next week (Monday, November 18), there will most certainly be a Handmade Monday post. And not just any Handmade Monday post… it’ll be a Special Edition post that I’m SUPER excited about writing! What is this special edition post, you ask? You’ll have to come back to find out and read it for yourself!

I’m sure by now you’ve heard that I’m participating in The Planners Collaborative (TPC) Black Friday sale! I’m working as hard as I can to get new things designed and ready for that! I have lots of freebies for the sale as well, so be sure you are paying attention in the TPC group and CPP Waddle because the freebies for the sale will be posted there soon! I’ll also be posting as I put new releases up (typically on Fridays and will be some on the Wednesday before the sale).

Speaking of new releases… tomorrow I’ll be releasing something amazing…. Kaleidoscope foil! If I had to describe this foil, I would call it a rainbow shattered glass. It’s really gorgeous! The color sections are wider than the rainbow foil so the color pattern will vary greatly from one sheet to the next. Just keep in mind that you probably won’t get all of the colors onto 1 sheet. Quarter sheets won’t have all the colors no matter what, but half sheets have a better chance of seeing them all. It really just depends (and depends on the foil roll itself). I’m actually working on updating listings for it now since it takes a little bit of time, so if you spy it in the shop on some listings now, that’s why. But the official release of it will be tomorrow. And it’s not my only release either, so you’ll have to check back to see all of those.

So, I said I am working on new things, and I am… as fast as I physically can. I’ve had some new and different headaches that have been slowing me down on getting things done. When I get these headaches it’s very difficult to accomplish anything, especially cutting stickers since certain movements actually make the pain much worse. They are not migraines, but sometimes I wish they were. 😕 Don’t worry though, I have been to the doctor and have another appointment soon, so we are working on getting me better. But just know if it takes me a tad longer than normal for things, this is the reason why.

I thought I’d throw it out there (although if you follow me on any of my social media sites, you probably have seen this a few times)… If you aren’t a part of The Flipp’n News crew, you are totally missing out on things! I sent out a Newsletter yesterday that not only showed the Kaleidoscope foil before anyone else saw it, but I showed the TPC Black Friday freebies, and even gave an exclusive deal. I won’t be sending emails out again after they are sent, but if you sign up you can ensure you won’t miss out on the next big thing I send out. And trust me when I say, I won’t spam your inbox. But make sure it is going to your inbox and not to your spam or other folders. You may just want to check them the first time and add my email (craftpenguinplanner5@gmail.com) to your contacts so that you actually see it in your inbox and not spam.

Oh! One more thing while I’m thinking about it. Did you know CPP is on Twitter? If you are on Twitter, feel free to follow us there too @cpenguinplanner! And let me know your handle so I can follow you back. I haven’t made a big deal about being on Twitter for a while because I wasn’t doing anything with it, but I’m trying to get better about using it much like I’m trying to get better about posting here on the blog. 🙂

I think that’s all for now. I warned you that would be all over the place! 😂 But if you made it all the way to the end, thanks for sticking around! There are just times I have a bunch of things on my mind and this is the best way to get it all out and fill you in. And there’s no good way to organize it without a ton of posts and that just drives people crazy. Anyways, I’m not going to keep rambling. I’ll be back Monday with our Special Edition Handmade Monday post! Have a great weekend!
