It’s been a few weeks since I posted with my planner lineup for next year (and dilemma about one in particular) and asked for your thoughts on both that planner and the blog. If you haven’t read it, you can read it here. Trust me, you’ll want to read that one before this. 😉 I truly appreciate all of the feedback that was given and I’ve done much thinking about it all and feel more at peace with things to come!
So let’s jump right in, shall we? I know you’re probably eager to know what I’ve decided for my shop planner, but before I get into that, let’s talk about the blog! I’ve decided I’m going to get it going again and am really excited about this!
A few of you suggested some pretty amazing planner related topics including: things to help a newbie like planner suggestions or things to get started, Happy Planner expansion packs- worth it?, sticker organization both personal and shop related, how I personally plan, and more! All of these are fabulous topics! And I am thinking I could maybe turn all of these questions into a Planning 101 series! It’s something I will probably turn into a once a month series since I’d want to keep it going and not run out of topics in a month. I’m going to keep a running list of topics for this series. So if you have any other questions/topics related to this that you’d like to see me talk about, drop a comment with them below so I can add them to my list!
Along with the blog topics I was asked about which other shops besides my own I feel offer the best customer service and products. I used to do a series featuring other shops I personally have purchased from and I think this is another series I’d like to pick back up! I’m thinking maybe a twice a month thing. I have purchased from quite a few shops, so I can certainly offer feedback from any/all of those! Now, when I did this in the past, I did any handmade shop I ordered from, not necessarily just planner shops. Would you rather me keep it all planner related or mix it up when I have other handmade items to share? Let me know below!
Of course, Thursday Thoughts posts will appear from time to time. They could be as frequent as weekly, or just once a month or less. It really depends on what I have to say! My Thursday Thoughts posts sometimes are just my ramblings of things in general (like a brain dump), or may be more structured like this one with a specific topic. Either way, it’s always a fun series (at least it is for me).
That is where I’m going to start with the blog. I’m hoping to have at least one post a week starting soon. I just have to sit down and plan out what days/weeks of each month the different series posts will occur. Once I figure all that out, I’ll pass that info along so you will know when to check back! I’m always open to new topics and ideas, so if you think of anything, feel free to let me know!
So, in addition to the blog, I decided to jump off the deep end and do something crazy about a week or so after my last post. I decided to start a newsletter for my shop! I actually sent out the first of the newsletters the same week and am quite excited about it as well. The newsletters will have important shop info, special deals, and more! If you haven’t subscribed yet you can join the Flipp’n News Crew here!
And now, what you really wanted to know and probably came back to find out…. what am I using for my shop planner next year??
If you remember from the last post, my concern with my Big Happy Planner was that I am not utilizing the space adequately enough like I used to which made me question whether or not I should downsize or keep it because of my love for the planner in general. Well, judging by how long it took me to get to this point in this post, what do you think??
Yup…. you guessed it…. I’m KEEPING my Big Happy Planner!! Between reviving my blog and adding in newsletters, I’m going to be needing more of the space in my planner that is currently being wasted. This makes my planner heart so happy!
So, the final decision on 2020 Planner lineup is this: Big Happy Planner for my shop, Erin Condren for my Personal life stuff, B6 for TPC Admin duties and my Health/fitness journey (2 separate inserts), and my Pocket TN for my pain tracking.
Well, that is all for now! Feel free to drop your comments/thoughts below!
P.S. You can actually subscribe to my blog to get notifications when new posts go up just over to the right. —-> 😉
Until next time, Waddle on! 💜🐧
